Montblanc, the renowned luxury brand, has teamed up with French football player and coach Zinedine Zidane for its latest communication campaign. This collaboration further solidifies the connection between the worlds of luxury and football. The campaign, titled “What Moves You Makes You,” was unveiled on social media platforms. It showcases Zidane, a highly acclaimed football champion and former Real Madrid coach, in black and white imagery, holding a pen while a voiceover narrates.
The campaign’s focus is on Zidane’s relationship with writing. He shares his experience of writing the preface for his father’s autobiographical book, “Sur les chemins de pierres,” published in 2017. Zidane emphasizes that he dedicates time to writing in his personal journal every day, proving that he engages in more than just signing autographs.
Additionally, besides endorsing stationery and leather goods, Zidane will also represent Montblanc’s fragrances. The partnership will begin with a beauty campaign centered around Montblanc Legend, which is expected to launch by the end of this year.
Montblanc’s decision to appoint Zinedine Zidane as their brand ambassador brings increased visibility to the luxury brand. Zidane boasts a massive following of 33.7 million on his official Instagram account, further enhancing the brand’s reach.
