Moncler Ventures into Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) in Collaboration with Arianee

Moncler, the well-known Italian brand famous for its luxurious jackets, has ventured into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in collaboration with Arianee, a specialist in web3 digital product certification solutions. Arianee, which raised $20 million earlier this year, has joined forces with Moncler to introduce the brand’s first-ever NFTs.

In celebration of its 70th anniversary, Moncler initiated three NFT projects on October 6. The initial endeavor involved the release of 500 NFTs connected to the iconic Moncler Maya jacket. The second initiative granted another 500 NFTs to the first 500 visitors of the “Extraordinary Expedition” event, a traveling exhibition organized by Moncler that made stops in major cities worldwide. The third operation distributed 70 NFTs among “friends of the brand.”

Each NFT can be accessed through a QR code and stored in a custodial wallet, which is seamlessly integrated into the Moncler application. Along with exclusive digital ownership, every NFT also comprises a piece of art created by Antoni Tudisco, a talented creative director and 3D artist from Hamburg, Germany.

This entry into the world of NFTs is part of Moncler’s broader web3 strategy. Leveraging the expertise and assistance of Arianee, Moncler aims to tap into the growing web3 universe, which is projected to encompass one billion users by 2031.

By embracing NFTs, Moncler not only offers its customers a distinct digital ownership experience but also showcases its commitment to innovation and staying at the forefront of the fashion industry.
