Moncler Unveils First Dedicated Store for Grenoble Brand in St. Moritz

Moncler, the renowned Italian outerwear brand, has recently unveiled its first dedicated store for its Grenoble brand in St. Moritz, Switzerland. This new 300-square-meter space offers a comprehensive display of Moncler Grenoble’s high-performance winter sports apparel and accessories. The store’s aesthetics, expertly designed by Küchel Architects, draw inspiration from both Moncler’s rich heritage and the picturesque local landscape. Utilizing natural materials like wood and stone, the store creates a tranquil forest-like atmosphere. It’s worth noting that the store is also LEED-certified and adheres to the highest standards of energy efficiency and sustainability.

More than just a retail space, the St. Moritz flagship serves as the ideal platform to highlight Moncler Grenoble’s anticipated Fall/Winter 2023 collection. This collection embodies innovation, utilizing cutting-edge fabrics and manufacturing techniques developed through Moncler’s intensive research and development efforts. The garments are specifically engineered to withstand various weather conditions and incorporate expert advice from leading international skiing instructors. Noteworthy features include waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex fabrics, advanced 4-way stretch materials, and a sophisticated ventilation system. The combination of down and performance padding ensures optimal thermal regulation and comfort during sporting activities. Furthermore, the collection boasts practical elements such as water-repellent zips, built-in ski pass pockets, the Recco safety reflector system, snow gaiters, and internal pockets for electronic devices. Alongside these technical pieces, the collection also offers premium knitwear and elegant loungewear, perfectly suited for après ski relaxation. Embracing a vibrant color palette, the collection spans from classic black to eye-catching shades of yellow, red, green, and navy.

To celebrate the St. Moritz store’s opening, Moncler has launched the ‘Beyond Performance’ ad campaign, shot by renowned photographer Jamie Hawkesworth. The campaign features four world-class winter sports athletes: Perrine Laffont, Richard Permin, Xuetong Cai, and Shaun White. It artfully captures these ambassadors in exhilarating moments on the slopes, as well as during moments of relaxation. Notably, the campaign includes a collaboration with Shaun White’s Whitespace brand, resulting in a technologically advanced snowboard made with a lightweight wood core and carbon-infused fiberglass weave.

The introduction of Moncler’s new store in St. Moritz affirms the brand’s dedication to delivering top-quality performance apparel and accessories to winter sports enthusiasts. The thoughtfully designed interiors, sustainable construction, and diverse collection all work together to establish this store as a premier destination for those seeking exceptional winter sports gear.
