Marylebone Village: A Hotspot for New Retailers

Marylebone Village in London has become a flourishing hotspot for new retailers, thanks to the efforts of property company Howard de Walden Estate. The latest additions to the area include high-end childrenswear brand Jacadi and homewares brand Mud Australia. These brands are soon to be joined by Parisian fashion brand Sézane and the luxury denim and lifestyle brand Frame. The presence of these diverse retailers in Marylebone Village reflects the growing demand for prime retail space.

Jacadi has expanded its presence in the UK by opening its second store at 51 Marylebone High Street. Spanning over 2,000 square feet, this store contributes to Marylebone’s extensive range of childrenswear retailers, alongside Petit Bateau and Bonpoint. Mud Australia has also chosen Marylebone as the location for its store, offering customers elegant and timeless porcelain homewares in a 500 square foot space at 61 Marylebone Lane. Sézane, on the other hand, has signed a lease agreement for 28/29 Marylebone High Street, where it will showcase both women’s and menswear across an impressive 3,800 square feet. As for Frame, the luxury denim and lifestyle brand will open its second UK store in Marylebone Village later this year, although the exact location and size have yet to be confirmed.

Rob Kirk, Head of Retail & Leisure at The Howard de Walden Estate, expressed his enthusiasm for the new brands joining Marylebone Village. He emphasized the appeal of the area and the pride in attracting high-caliber retailers, many of whom have chosen Marylebone Village as their second or flagship stores in the UK. The demand for prime retail and food and beverage spaces remains high, and efforts are being made to ensure a diverse and exciting mix of brands for visitors, residents, and businesses in the area.
