Making the Cut Season 2

Amazon Studios has announced the 10 designers and entrepreneurs who will be competing in the highly anticipated second season of ‘Making the Cut.’ The show is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on July 16, 2021, and will feature contestants from five different countries, all vying for the opportunity to take their fashion brands to new levels of success.

Season 2 of ‘Making the Cut’ will showcase some incredibly talented designers. Ally Ferguson from Los Angeles, California, brings an impressive 15 years of experience working with renowned fashion brands like G Star Raw, Ed Hardy, and Field Scout. Andrea Salazar, hailing from Medellín, Colombia, is the founder and designer behind the world-renowned brand, SETA. Dushyant Asthana from Jaipur, India, is a multi-disciplinary artist and fashion designer, while Gary Graham from Franklin, New York, is known for his eponymous label. Additionally, the season will feature Joshua Scacheri from London, England; Lendrell Martin from South Orange, New Jersey; Lucie Brochard from Paris, France; Olivia OBlanc from New Orleans, Louisiana; Andrea Pitter from Brooklyn, New York; and Raf Swiader from Sosnowiec, Poland.

Filmed in Los Angeles, season 2 of ‘Making the Cut’ will push these designers to their limits with a series of challenges that test their design skills and their ability to manage all aspects of a fashion brand. The winner, who will be crowned on August 6, 2021, will receive a grand prize of $1 million to invest in their business, the opportunity to sell a collection in the Amazon Fashion store, and a valuable mentorship with Amazon Fashion.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that supermodel and fashion icon Winnie Harlow, along with Moschino’s creative director Jeremy Scott, would join Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn as hosts and executive producers for the new season. Throughout the competition, they will be joined by esteemed guest judges such as award-winning fashion designer and activist Prabal Gurung, and celebrated costume designer and celebrity stylist Shiona Turini.

With designers from different corners of the globe and an esteemed panel of judges, ‘Making the Cut’ season 2 promises to be a thrilling and inspiring showcase of talent in the fashion industry. Viewers can expect to witness the creativity, determination, and unique visions of these designers as they compete for the chance to elevate their brands to new heights.
