Next year, the LVMH 2023 Prize will celebrate its tenth anniversary, highlighting its pivotal role in the careers of emerging designers. Several past winners have gone on to showcase their collections on prestigious runways worldwide, from Paris to London. Renowned designers like Thebe Magugu, Marine Serre, Rokh, and Jacquemus have been recognized through this prize, proving its influence in the fashion industry. Notable winners also include Grace Wales Bonner and Marques’Almeida, who won the prize in 2016 and 2015 respectively.

In a recent press release, Delphine Arnault, the founder of the LVMH Prize, stressed the importance of the competition. She described it as a benchmark and a crucial supporter of young designers, stating that “the LVMH Prize has become a major and unmissable player in the fashion industry” since its creation ten years ago. Arnault also highlighted the prize’s evolution, adapting to the ever-changing currents and trends in both the fashion industry and society as a whole.
