Luxury Streetwear Label Palm Angels to Open New Store in Paris

Luxury streetwear label Palm Angels has revealed its plans to open a new store in Paris, marking its fourth store opening in less than a year. The brand has chosen the prestigious Rue Saint Honoré, located near the Saint Laurent flagship store, as its prime location for further establishing its image in the high-end market segment.

Palm Angels has been rapidly expanding its retail footprint, with its first foray into the United States market through store openings in Miami and Las Vegas. Both of these cities hold great significance for the brand, as they reflect the influential aesthetics of California. In June, Palm Angels successfully launched its first European store in Milan, Italy.

The decision to open a store in Paris is a strategic move for Palm Angels, as the city is renowned as one of the world’s most prominent fashion and luxury destinations. The brand’s new store will follow the same “ethno-chic” design concept seen in the Milan store, featuring walnut woodwork, oak beams, raw cement walls, and granite tile floors. This aesthetic will also be adopted in upcoming Palm Angels stores.

Since its inception in 2015, Palm Angels has evolved from solely offering menswear and womenswear to expanding its product range. The brand now offers a children’s collection, glasses, a fragrance line, and a home line featuring cushions, blankets, and candles, among other items. Palm Angels has also collaborated with renowned brands such as Missoni, Vilebrequin, Mate, and Moncler. The brand’s distinct logo showcases gothic letters intertwined with palm tree or cannabis leaf motifs.

In 2021, New Guards Group, which is owned by Farfetch, acquired a 60% stake in Palm Angels, with the remaining 40% split between creative director Francesco Ragazzi and co-founder Davide de Giglio. This partnership has played a pivotal role in propelling the brand’s global growth and expansion.

With its forthcoming store in Paris, Palm Angels is poised to solidify its position as a frontrunner in the luxury streetwear industry. The brand’s unique fusion of cool Californian style and Italian craftsmanship has resonated with fashion enthusiasts worldwide, and the new store is expected to attract an even larger fan base.
