Luxury Retailers Gant and Watches of Switzerland Open Flagship Stores in London’s Broadgate Neighborhood

London’s vibrant East London neighborhood of Broadgate is welcoming new retail tenants as luxury clothing retailer Gant and Watches of Switzerland gear up to open their doors in the area. Gant’s first foray into East London will be in the stunning 100 Liverpool Street development, designed by Hopkins Architects. Watches of Switzerland has also chosen the same building for their East London flagship store, aiming to establish themselves as the top watch retailer in the UK by hosting customer and brand events.

Broadgate, a neighborhood undergoing a revitalization led by British Land, is set to offer 4.9 million sq ft of innovative workplaces, retail spaces, and dining options. Conveniently located near Liverpool Street station, the development will have easy access to Crossrail once it is fully operational. In addition to Gant and Watches of Switzerland, popular skincare brands such as Kiehl’s, Neom, and The Body Shop will be joining the lineup at 100 Liverpool Street.

Peter Lay, COO of Gant in Northern Europe, expressed his excitement about the brand’s expansion into Broadgate, noting that the area will provide a fresh and inspiring environment for shoppers and diners alike. David Lockyer, head of Broadgate at British Land, also emphasized the leasing success and the development’s commitment to creating a dynamic destination for both locals and visitors. With new retailers on board, upcoming projects in the works, and plans for a park at Exchange Square, Broadgate is well on its way to solidifying its reputation as a world-class mixed-use destination.
