The platform, called “Savoir pour faire” (“Knowledge to Act”), is spearheaded by the Fashion & Luxury Industry, led by Guillaume de Seynes, Director of Upstream & Participation at Maison Hermès. The aim of the platform is to promote careers in various sectors such as Table Arts, Jewelry & Goldsmithing, Footwear, Couture & Clothing, Leather, Watchmaking, Leather Goods, and Textiles.

“Savoir pour faire” utilizes informational content, a chatbot, and a dedicated job offers space to connect individuals with permanent contracts, fixed-term contracts, apprenticeships, internships, professionalization contracts, continuous training, and more. The recently launched promotional film for the platform aims to provide increased visibility to the initiative, which features 250 initial training programs or career conversions and showcases 83 different professions, highlighting the sectors and companies actively seeking talent.

In a column published on the Fashion and Luxury Industry website, Guillaume de Seynes emphasizes the importance of focusing on essential training programs to maintain skills, train the next generation, and support the industrial fabric in relocalizing certain know-how.
