Luxury Group Richemont Strengthens Management Team with Appointment of Patricia Gandji

Luxury group Richemont is taking steps to bolster its management team with the appointment of Patricia Gandji to its senior executive committee. With a notable 30 years of management experience, Gandji has been an integral part of Richemont since 2007. In 2017, she assumed the role of group CEO of regions, and in 2020, she took on the added responsibility of chief people officer. Reporting directly to Richemont’s CEO Jérôme Lambert, Gandji’s new position will further strengthen the company’s management structure.

Gandji’s extensive familiarity with Richemont’s renowned brand, Cartier, stems from her various crucial roles within the company over the years. Prior to joining Richemont, she began her career in the fashion industry in Italy and Germany, holding notable positions at Hugo Boss and Escada. Upon joining Richemont in 2007, she made significant contributions to Cartier through both operational and strategic positions before assuming leadership roles.

Richemont Chairman Johann Rupert highlights Gandji’s valuable insight into the regions as well as her compassionate leadership approach, which strongly aligns with the company’s customer-focused mindset. Her appointment is viewed as strategic due to her instrumental role in leading and developing Richemont’s human resources capabilities across the group.

This move by Richemont to reinforce its management team underscores its dedication to strengthening leadership and fostering growth within the luxury sector. With Gandji’s wealth of experience and proven track record, she is poised to play a crucial role in the ongoing success of the company.
