Luxury fashion house Hermès is bringing its enchanting spectacle, ‘On The Wings of Hermès’, to the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, offering an extraordinary experience that explores the mythical tale of Pegasus. The show, which will run from July 15 to 23, is a collaboration between Belgian duo Jaco Van Dormael and Michèle Anne De Mey, combining the art forms of film, dance, and puppetry to narrate the story of Pegasus and his seven foals as they discover the art of flying.
‘On The Wings of Hermès’ initially premiered in Paris last October at La Villette’s Grande Halle, captivating audiences before captivating even more in Japan and Taiwan. Now, this captivating production is making its way to Los Angeles. The esteemed dance troupe Astragales will be showcasing the show, employing Birkin bags as puppets, blending luxury and artistic expression in a remarkable display.
Hermès perceives ‘On The Wings of Hermès’ as a tribute to lightness, which symbolizes a recurring theme within the brand.
