Luxury conglomerate Richemont has teamed up with the Dubai Future Foundation to launch a start-up incubation program called “Beyond: The Future of Luxury Retail.” The initiative aims to identify and support innovative new technologies that can enhance the luxury customer experience. As the digital aspect of the purchasing process becomes increasingly important, Richemont and the Dubai Future Foundation are looking for startups with unique visions in the development of new technologies.
The program will focus on two key themes: interactive product experiences and data-driven personalization. Over a 12-week period, selected companies will participate in a virtual program, where they will pitch their ideas to a decision-making committee. Successful applicants will then have the opportunity to spend eight weeks in Dubai, where they will further develop their concepts with access to the AREA 2071 innovation hub. Richemont will evaluate the projects and determine which companies it wishes to collaborate with.
