Louis Vuitton’s Highly Anticipated Cruise Collection Showcase in California

Louis Vuitton, the prominent fashion house under the LVMH group, is gearing up to showcase its highly anticipated cruise collection in California, USA. While the exact venue remains undisclosed, the brand has made it clear that it will persist in its tradition of presenting these collections at exclusive and architecturally stunning locations across the globe.

In light of the pandemic last year, Louis Vuitton opted to stream its cruise collection show, which took place in the new city of Cergy-Pontoise on the outskirts of Paris. However, prior to that, in 2019, the brand left its mark by hosting the event at the historic TWA terminal in New York’s JFK airport. Designed by Finnish architect Eero Saarinen in 1962, this distinctive terminal injected an extra dose of glamour into the fashion presentation.

Louis Vuitton has built a reputation for selecting extraordinary modern architectural venues for its shows. Back in 2016, the brand decided to hold its collection presentation at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Niterói, Brazil, which served as the final masterpiece of the renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer. The following year, the brand opted for the Miho Museum, situated north of Kyoto, Japan. This masterpiece was designed by Ieoh Ming Pei, the architect behind the iconic Louvre pyramid.

Bernard Arnault, the CEO of LVMH, has been keen on highlighting that Louis Vuitton is more than just a fashion house; it is a company that fosters cultural creativity on a global scale. By meticulously selecting these remarkable locations for its cruise collections, the brand aims to reflect its cultural and artistic vision, ultimately providing attendees with a truly unique and immersive experience. As the world of fashion enthusiastically embraces the return of in-person shows, Louis Vuitton’s upcoming unveiling of its cruise collection in California is bound to once again mesmerize the fashion industry.
