Louis Vuitton has taken a step further in enhancing its travel retail offering by unveiling its first-ever Louis Vuitton Lounge at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar. This exciting venture aims to captivate discerning customers who find themselves in transit at the prestigious airport, recently crowned the Best Airport in the World for 2022 by the World Airport Awards.

In partnership with Qatar Airways, the new lounge has been specifically designed to cater to the needs of first-class and business-class travelers. Located on the upper floor of the Louis Vuitton boutique, it provides a breathtaking view of the airport’s indoor garden. The focal point of the concept is the exquisite dining space known as the Louis Vuitton Lounge by Yannick Alléno.

Louis Vuitton has collaborated with the acclaimed three-Michelin-starred chef, Yannick Alléno, to curate an exclusive menu that celebrates local ingredients. The offerings include delectable soups, hot sandwiches, refreshing salads, a selection of Prunier caviar, and for those seeking a more indulgent experience, a tantalizing tasting menu. The lounge also boasts an assortment of viennoiseries and pastries, ranging from beloved French gastronomic classics like éclairs and Paris-Brest to Oriental-inspired delicacies.

This new addition not only reflects Louis Vuitton’s unwavering confidence in the recovery of post-Covid tourism but also signifies the brand’s expansion into the realm of gastronomy. In recent months, Louis Vuitton has ventured into the restaurant industry, establishing remarkable dining destinations in Japan, China, and Saint Tropez. In addition to its café and chocolaterie at the LV Dream exhibition space in Paris, the fashion house unveiled a pop-up restaurant last year in Seoul, South Korea, featuring acclaimed chefs such as Pierre Sang Boyer, Alain Passard, and Jeremy Chan.
