Louis Vuitton Opens Temporary Boutique for New Women’s Sneaker Collection

Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton is set to open a temporary boutique in New York dedicated exclusively to its new women’s sneaker collection, the Archlight model. The brand has recognized the continued popularity of sneakers and the trend of “ugly sneakers” with futuristic designs, and is capitalizing on this success by releasing a collection of its own. The pop-up store, located in SoHo, will showcase the Archlight sneakers designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, which were presented during the Spring/Summer 2018 runway shows. The sneakers draw inspiration from 90s basketball shoes and feature an oversized sole and tongue. The temporary boutique will close on March 10th.
