Renowned luxury brand Loro Piana has recently reopened its flagship store in Dubai following an extensive renovation. This exciting reopening also marks the introduction of a fresh retail concept for the brand.
Situated in Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue, the newly refurbished Loro Piana store now covers two floors, connected by an elevator and private entrance. The brand’s minimalist style is reflected in the store’s striking interior design. Natural materials, a warm color palette, oak wood, and Carabottino marble details have been incorporated into the new store concept. The architects, Jun Aoki and Yoshihiko Takeuchi, have also redesigned the store’s façade using handmade terracotta ceramic tiles from Italy, creating a soft and flowing texture inspired by Loro Piana fabrics.
In a press release, it was stated that the renovation pays homage to the heritage of the maison and honors the brand’s founder, Sergio Loro Piana. The design seamlessly blends timeless aesthetics with contemporary elements, resulting in a space that truly embodies the brand’s values.
The first floor of the store is dedicated to VIP clients, providing them with separate salons where they can browse and explore the Fall/Winter 2024 collection in privacy. Additionally, the first floor offers an exclusive Dubai Mall capsule collection. On the ground floor, the general public can indulge in shopping the brand’s latest collections.
Dubai is now home to two Loro Piana stores, with the second location found in the Mall of the Emirates.
