London Fashion Week Men’s January 2019

London Fashion Week Men’s has unveiled its schedule for January 2019, signaling a strong commitment to showcasing the creativity and diversity of the industry. Scheduled to run from January 5 to January 7, the three-day event will feature a total of 42 separate events, slightly fewer than the calendar from June 2018.

The excitement kicks off on Saturday morning with Art School, a trailblazing non-binary brand celebrated for its tube dresses designed for trans-identified individuals. The day will culminate with Charles Jeffrey’s Loverboy, a standout at the LVMH Prize, known for pushing boundaries and presenting LGBTQ fantasies in a groundbreaking manner.

Although traditional brands have taken a backseat in recent seasons, London Fashion Week Men’s will see the return of heritage labels like Barbour and Belstaff, in addition to spotlighting designers dedicated to expert tailoring, such as E. Tautz and Oliver Spencer.

The primary focus of the event remains on discovering new talent and tracking the progress of recent breakthrough designers. Notable mentions include Delada, whose unisex collection infused with Russian nostalgia has garnered attention, as well as Feng Chen Wang, an LVMH finalist recognized for her innovative outerwear designs. Paria Farzaneh, acclaimed for her unique Iranian heritage showcase, will also take the stage.

Furthermore, Fashion East, a platform renowned for nurturing emerging talents, will showcase the work of Stefan Cooke, known for his innovative textile techniques, alongside Mowalola and Robyn Lynch, both rising stars with distinct creative visions. Under the guidance of Lulu Kennedy, a renowned fashion talent spotter and director of Fashion East, these designers are set to bring fresh perspectives to the forefront.

Excitement is mounting for the upcoming London Fashion Week Men’s as the event promises to be a celebration of youth, gender fluidity, and innovative design. With a lineup brimming with talent and diversity, the January 2019 showcase is poised to captivate audiences and set the stage for the future of men’s fashion.
