London Fashion Week: City Wide Celebration

London Fashion Week is fast approaching, and it’s not just the catwalks that will be filled with excitement. Three renowned London shopping neighborhoods – Carnaby, Soho, and Marylebone Village – will be joining in the celebrations as part of the British Fashion Council’s LFW: City Wide Celebration initiative. The aim of this event is to boost fashion sales and shine a spotlight on these iconic areas of the city.

From February 18-22, a diverse range of events and activities will be taking place in these neighborhoods, providing an unforgettable experience for fashion enthusiasts. Marylebone Village, represented by the esteemed Howard de Walden estate, will be featuring exciting brands like Wyse London, By Rotation, Bloobloom, French Sole, and Fresh, among others. These brands will offer a variety of exclusive perks to shoppers, including ticketed styling events, discounts, personal shopping services, exclusive previews, and more.

In Carnaby, popular brands such as Ganni, Folie, Scotch & Soda, and Bar Crispin will be taking part in exclusive in-store events and offering special discounts to visitors. Soho, known for its vibrant and creative atmosphere, will also be joining the festivities, with renowned names like Toast Menswear, Mark Powell, Soma, and Kricket showcasing their offerings. Additionally, restaurants in these areas will be getting involved by serving specially crafted cocktails and menus, adding an extra touch of celebration to the atmosphere.

Samantha Bain-Mollinson, the retail director of Shaftesbury, the London landlord responsible for Carnaby and Soho, expressed her enthusiasm for the campaign. She sees it as a fantastic opportunity to showcase the incredible tenants of these neighborhoods and attract followers of London Fashion Week to the area. With international visitors beginning to return and the prospect of physical events after a long hiatus, this London Fashion Week is set to be a momentous occasion for both the fashion industry and the city of London.
