London Designer Outlet’s Remarkable Recovery and Impressive Sales Performance

London Designer Outlet (LDO) in Wembley Park is making a remarkable recovery, with sales approaching pre-pandemic levels. Over the past two years, LDO has successfully attracted 10 new brands, including big names like Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Lyle and Scott, and adidas. These brands have collectively leased a substantial 61,000 square feet of space, bolstering LDO’s status as a premier fashion destination.

During the highly lucrative ‘Golden Quarter’ trading period, LDO has achieved an impressive sales performance, with like-for-like sales reaching 90% of 2019 levels. In comparison to last year, sales have increased by a remarkable 36.3%. This growth in sales can be attributed to the significant rise in guest spending and average transaction values since October, which have seen increases of 6% and 18% respectively.

Furthermore, LDO has recently made an exciting addition to its team by appointing a new General Manager. Daniel Tomkinson, previously the CEO of the Covent Garden Market Authority and renowned for his redevelopment expertise, will be joining LDO this month. Tomkinson’s notable achievements include leading a £300 million redevelopment project for the Covent Garden Market and his decade-long experience as the Centre Director for the Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Tomkinson is thrilled to be a part of LDO and contribute to the growth and development of Wembley Park as an active retail, dining, and residential hub. With the influx of new brands and the extraordinary sales performance, London Designer Outlet is cementing its position as the leading outlet center for fashion and lifestyle in the capital city. It is also gaining recognition as one of the most successful outlet centers in the entire United Kingdom.
