Austrian cellulose fibre producer, Lenzing, has unveiled its latest innovation in sustainable fibres with the development of a new treatment for its Tencel lyocell fibre. This groundbreaking treatment allows for the creation of a lightweight and elastic fibre that is not derived from fossil fuels, positioning it as a direct competitor to synthetic stretch fibres.
Lenzing’s Tencel lyocell fibre is made from wood pulp and is considered the most sustainable material in its range.
