Lamborghini Sets New Sales Record in 2021

Lamborghini, the renowned Italian automotive company, is enjoying a period of unprecedented success. After achieving its best semester ever, Lamborghini has now set a new sales record for the period from January to September 2021, delivering a staggering 6,902 units. This represents a remarkable 6% increase in sales compared to 2019 and marks the highest number of sales since the company’s inception in 1963.

Impressively, Lamborghini saw a substantial increase in sales across different regions. In America, sales rose by an impressive 25% compared to the previous year, with 2,407 units delivered. The EMEA region, encompassing Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, experienced a significant 17% increase, with 2,622 vehicles sold. However, it was the APAC region that emerged as the fastest-growing market for Lamborghini, with 1,873 cars delivered, representing an astounding 28% increase.

Leading the charge as Lamborghini’s best-selling model was the Urus Super SUV, with a staggering 4,085 units sold. This represents a 25% increase compared to 2020. Additionally, the Huracán and Aventador played their part in Lamborghini’s exceptional performance, with 2,136 and 681 cars delivered, respectively.

The impressive sales figures are a reflection of the brand’s enduring global appeal and its strong financial position. Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., attributes this success to the company’s product portfolio, which continues to captivate customers worldwide. Furthermore, Lamborghini’s robust business strategy and its well-established dealer network have played a crucial role in maintaining consistent volume growth despite the challenges of the past 18 months.

This achievement comes at a time when Lamborghini has been focusing on environmental sustainability. In line with their commitment to innovation, the company recently unveiled its environmental strategy, “Direzione Cor Tauri.” This forward-thinking plan includes a transition to hybrid vehicles by 2024 and the launch of its first 100% electric vehicle before the end of the decade. This demonstrates Lamborghini’s determination to remain at the forefront of the luxury automotive market while also prioritizing environmental consciousness.

In conclusion, Lamborghini’s record-breaking sales performance not only reflects the brand’s enduring popularity but also showcases its strong financial position and commitment to innovation and sustainability. With continued advancements and a focus on delivering cutting-edge vehicles, Lamborghini is poised for continued success in the competitive luxury automotive market.
