Ksubi Launches Debut Store on Carnaby Street in London

Australian streetwear brand Ksubi has made its debut in the London market with the launch of its standalone store on Carnaby Street. The opening of the store coincides with a limited-edition collaboration with London-based artist Slawn.

Ksubi CEO Craig King explained that the decision to open a store in London was driven by the vibrant music and arts communities in the city. The brand aims to create a hub for its crew and celebrate the triumph of the creative outsider. Ksubi already has successful stores in LA and New York, and hopes that London will become another popular destination for its loyal customers.

The opening of the London store is a significant milestone for Ksubi’s expansion plans in the UK and Europe. The brand worked closely with design consultancy Brinkworth to create a location that embodies a rebellious spirit while still maintaining a luxury presence. The store features a mix of distressed and premium materials, with a red marble cash desk on the first floor and a custom sculpture by Shawn, inspired by the Ksubi x Slawn collection.

In addition to the retail space, the store also offers an exclusive private shopping area in the basement. This space is designed specifically for VIP customers and will also host customer personalization workshops.

Ksubi has gained popularity among celebrities such as A$AP Rocky and Travis Scott, and its primary market is now in the US. However, the brand has seen exponential growth and has established a presence in the UK through partnerships with retailers like Selfridges, Browns Fashion, and Liberty. The opening of the London store demonstrates Ksubi’s dedication to expanding its own retail footprint. This year alone, the brand has opened flagship stores in Miami and Chicago, solidifying its position in the global fashion scene.

With its rebellious and edgy aesthetic, Ksubi’s first London store on Carnaby Street is expected to attract a loyal following of fashion-forward individuals seeking unique and contemporary streetwear pieces. As Ksubi continues to establish itself in the UK and Europe, it is evident that the brand’s commitment to creativity and individuality will resonate with the fashion-savvy consumers of the city.
