KidSuper Opens New Headquarters in Brooklyn

KidSuper, the forward-thinking fashion brand founded by Colm Dillane, is making a significant stride forward with the opening of its new headquarters in Brooklyn. This expansive 10,000-square-foot space is not only home to the brand’s inaugural flagship retail store but also provides a platform for various creative endeavors. Alongside the store, the headquarters houses an art gallery, design and screen-printing studios, a photo studio, and more exciting features to come. Situated in downtown Williamsburg, this vibrant hub not only operates as a factory for other creatives to bring their projects and dreams to life but also serves as a stage for unconventional fashion experiences.

Ahead of the grand opening, Dillane expressed his enthusiasm for the new space, describing it as a place where the public can fully immerse themselves in the world of KidSuper. From screen-printing classes to exclusive shopping sessions, Dillane is devoted to making the headquarters an energetic and dynamic space. After an extensive search for the ideal location, Dillane stumbled upon a refurbished space previously occupied by an advertising agency. wasting no time, he secured the lease and embarked on the transformation process to create a creative community center.

KidSuper’s ability to capture the unique and ironic-cool essence of Brooklyn can be attributed, in part, to brand partnerships with renowned companies such as Canada Goose, Jägermeister, Starbucks, and LoveSac. These partnerships, many of which are sponsoring the opening festivities, have augmented the brand’s reach and impact. The opening day was accompanied by panel discussions featuring industry experts and influencers, with notable figures like Willa Bennett of HighSnobiety, Gabe Whaley of MSCHF, and rapper Russ.

However, the growth of KidSuper extends well beyond its headquarters. Dillane has ambitious plans for the future, including the incorporation of a rooftop soccer field and a recording studio. These additional elements will further bolster the brand’s dedication to creativity and self-expression. Dillane attributes a significant portion of KidSuper’s success to his time as a guest designer at Louis Vuitton, which opened doors and challenged preconceived notions about what he could achieve. The brand is now esteemed as both high-end and versatile, breaking free from any limitations associated with its name.

As KidSuper continues to evolve and mature, its new headquarters on Roebling Street embodies the brand’s growth spurt. With its innovative design spaces and collaborative mindset, this creative hub is set to become a beacon of inspiration for artists and fashion enthusiasts alike. KidSuper’s unconventional approach consistently challenges the norms of the fashion industry, solidifying its reputation as a pioneering force to be reckoned with.
