Kenzo Kids Opens First Flagship Store in Hong Kong

This new store, situated in the bustling Ocean Terminal mall, spans an impressive 40 square meters, providing a spacious and chic shopping destination for families in the region.

The decision to establish a flagship store in Hong Kong came after the overwhelming success of a temporary pop-up store that Kenzo Kids hosted at Ocean Terminal back in 2017. Known for its bustling atmosphere and top-notch shopping options, Ocean Terminal was the ideal location for Kenzo Kids to solidify its presence and cater to the lively market in Hong Kong. Maud Rascle, the creative mind behind Kenzo Kids under the Kidiliz group, is optimistic about the brand’s future in Hong Kong and envisions great success in the region.

Kenzo Kids has witnessed impressive growth in recent years, with annual growth rates consistently ranging between 20 to 30 percent. This remarkable success can be attributed to the creative vision of Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the brilliant minds behind Opening Ceremony, who assumed the artistic direction of Kenzo in 2011. Their innovative and fresh approach has propelled the brand to new heights and has cultivated a dedicated and loyal customer base.

Having established a presence in more than 850 retail outlets globally, Kenzo Kids is now poised for further expansion, with a keen focus on expanding its footprint in Asia. Notably, the brand has captured the attention of the Semir Group, a prominent player in the children’s wear market in China. Last May, Semir Group entered into exclusive talks with the Kidiliz group, hinting at a potential partnership that could significantly bolster Kenzo Kids’ presence in the region.

The inauguration of the flagship store in Hong Kong marks a significant milestone for Kenzo Kids, showcasing the brand’s unwavering commitment to international growth and expansion. With the strong support from the Semir Group and a strategic emphasis on expanding in Asia, Kenzo Kids is well-positioned for sustained success in the fiercely competitive children’s wear market.
