Karl Lagerfeld x Steven Wilson Collaboration

Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has announced a new collaboration with artist Steven Wilson. This exciting partnership will result in a limited edition capsule collection that includes clothing and accessories. Lagerfeld, renowned for his work at Chanel and Fendi, has never before collaborated with an artist of Wilson’s caliber.

The inspiration for this collection comes from Lagerfeld’s universe, with Wilson creating patterns using the three standard printing colors: cyan, magenta, and yellow. These patterns incorporate Lagerfeld’s signature silhouette, the famous cat Choupette, sunglasses, the brand’s logo, and a camera.

Lagerfeld’s designs for the capsule collection include an embroidered satin bomber jacket, jeans, fur bags, fleece sweaters, and various accessories. The collection also features tote bags, crossbody bags, clutches, a cap, a dress, smartphone cases, and sandals adorned with Wilson’s unique patterns.

Wilson expressed his honor at working alongside Lagerfeld, noting that his work is often overshadowed by the brands he collaborates with. This opportunity to have his name and work showcased alongside Lagerfeld’s is truly special.

It remains to be seen whether Lagerfeld’s fans will be captivated by this collaboration and the capsule collection. The creations are available for purchase on the karl.com website starting from April 1, 2017.
