Karl Lagerfeld Partners with Artist Endless for NFT Release

The fashion brand Karl Lagerfeld has partnered with artist Endless to release two NFTs on The Dematerialised platform. These NFTs, showcasing Lagerfeld, sold out within minutes, highlighting the continued fascination with the iconic designer even three years after his death. The Karl Lagerfeld brand is embracing the digital realm with its fourth drop, featuring personalized clothing by artist Endless. Buyers can virtually interact with the character through the hashtag #PoseWithKarl.

The first NFT, priced at €100 and limited to 500 copies, displays Lagerfeld wearing a graffiti-styled pink jacket. Buyers of this NFT will also have access to exclusive digital experiences, providing behind-the-scenes insights into the fashion house and showcasing Endless’ performances. The second, more exclusive NFT, named KL7xENDLESS, consists of only seven pieces priced at €777 each. It features blue colors and comes with an in-person experience. Those who purchase this NFT will be invited to attend a live performance by Endless at a cocktail event held in June at Karl Lagerfeld’s Paris headquarters.

This collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and Endless aims to bridge the gap between the virtual and physical worlds, strengthening the “digital community worldwide.” Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of Karl Lagerfeld, states that Karl Lagerfeld has always been an innovator and hopes to pioneer future possibilities when art and fashion collide, following in Lagerfeld’s footsteps.

In line with its corporate social responsibility vision, Karl Lagerfeld has chosen to auction these NFTs on The Dematerialised platform, known for its focus on virtual fashion. The platform utilizes the environmentally friendly LUKSO blockchain. Additionally, for every NFT purchase, Karl Lagerfeld will plant a tree in Madagascar, further demonstrating its commitment to eco-friendly initiatives.

The auction for these Karl Lagerfeld x Endless NFTs will begin on Friday, December 17th, at 4 pm on The Dematerialised platform.
