Karl Lagerfeld Launches Karl Lagerfeld Kids Collection

Karl Lagerfeld, the world-renowned fashion designer and artistic director of Chanel, is making his mark in the world of children’s fashion. Lagerfeld has teamed up with the CWF group, a leading company in children’s fashion, to launch a new collection called Karl Lagerfeld Kids. This eagerly anticipated line will feature clothing and accessories for children aged 0 to 16 and will be unveiled for the first time in spring 2016.

The partnership with CWF is a strategic move for Lagerfeld, as the company is already responsible for successful children’s lines such as Chloé, DKNY, and Marc Jacobs. By venturing into the children’s ready-to-wear market, Lagerfeld aims to reach a wider audience and promote his vision of elegant and relaxed style.

The Karl Lagerfeld brand has seen tremendous success in recent years, leading the designer to expand into different sectors. Lagerfeld launched his eponymous brand in 1984 and faced initial challenges, which resulted in a suspension of his activities in the 90s. However, he made a comeback in 1998 with the launch of Lagerfeld Gallery. The brand gained recognition and popularity, allowing Lagerfeld to present his first women’s fashion show in 2000.

In 2006, the brand was rebranded as simply Karl Lagerfeld, and the designer continued to expand his empire by introducing luxury watches and eyewear. This multi-sector brand now attracts a diverse target audience, sharing Lagerfeld’s creative vision with an ever-growing customer base.

Through the launch of Karl Lagerfeld Kids, Lagerfeld aims to bring his unique style and luxury aesthetic to the world of children’s fashion. This new venture reflects the brand’s commitment to innovation and renewal. By collaborating with CWF, a leader in the industry, Lagerfeld has positioned himself to capture the attention of parents and children alike.
