Karl Lagerfeld Appoints New Sales Director

Karl Lagerfeld, the renowned fashion brand, recently made an exciting announcement regarding the appointment of a new sales director. Nicolette Veendorp, who comes from a solid background in the fashion industry with extensive experience at Chloé, will be taking on this key role starting in May 2019. She will be succeeding Carlos Pallegrini, who has been in the position for the past six years.

Veendorp’s impressive career at Chloé began in 1998 as a consultant, eventually working her way up to the management team after 13 years. In her most recent role as the wholesale commercial director for Chloé and See by Chloé, she has proven her expertise in the industry. With her new responsibilities at Karl Lagerfeld, Veendorp will be instrumental in implementing the brand’s wholesale expansion strategy, playing a vital role in working with top-tier partners both online and offline.

CEO Pier Paolo Righi expressed admiration for Veendorp’s leadership skills and deep knowledge of the premium and luxury fashion sector. The brand is confident that she will play a crucial part in maintaining the impressive growth the company has experienced, aiming for double-digit growth in the upcoming year.

Under the creative direction of Hun Kim since August 2015, Karl Lagerfeld has seen significant success in recent years. The addition of Carine Roitfeld, former Vogue France editor, as the house’s style advisor for the next three seasons is expected to further elevate the brand’s prestige and appeal. With a strong leadership team now in place, Karl Lagerfeld is well-positioned for continued growth and success in the luxury fashion industry.
