Jigsaw’s New Concept Store Shaking Up Covent Garden Retail Scene

Jigsaw is making a move to shake up the retail scene in London’s Covent Garden with the opening of a new concept store in the former Shop at Bluebird location. The iconic Grade II listed Carriage Hall on Floral Street will now host this mid-market brand known for its single-brand focus, offering a fresh perspective to the area.

Capital & Counties Properties (Capco), the landlord of the space, has also announced other new openings in Covent Garden, including renowned brands like American Vintage and APC. The vibrant retail landscape in the area is set to expand even further with these exciting additions.

The closure of the luxury store, The Shop at Bluebird, paved the way for Jigsaw to bring its innovative concept store to life in Covent Garden. The company is no stranger to creating unique retail experiences, as seen in their former Duke Street W1 location which combined art, a cafe, and fashion retail.

Covent Garden has been buzzing with new energy and revitalization, with recent openings from popular brands like Glossier, Free People, and Alex Monroe. The introduction of Peloton’s flagship studio outside the US on Floral Street is also highly anticipated.

Joining the mix of established brands in Covent Garden are accessories favorites Strathberry and Lulu Guinness. Strathberry will be situated in the Market Building, while Lulu Guinness will open its doors on King Street, alongside other renowned names in the area like Burberry, Mulberry, Penhaligon’s, and Jo Malone London.

Notable openings from last year, such as Hawkers, L’Occitane, Happy Socks, and Polo Ralph Lauren, have added to the dynamic and ever-evolving retail scene of Covent Garden. With its continuous growth and variety, Covent Garden remains a vibrant and enticing destination for shoppers and retailers alike.
