Jeremy Scott Departs Moschino

After a decade as creative director, Jeremy Scott is leaving luxury fashion brand Moschino. The departure comes amidst recent financial struggles for Aeffe, Moschino’s parent company, which reported net losses of €9 million. While the official statement announcing the separation did not provide specific reasons, Aeffe praised Scott’s work in bringing a unique and humorous perspective to the brand, challenging fashion norms and society’s relationship with consumerism.

Massimo Ferretti, president of Aeffe, expressed gratitude to Scott for his commitment to Franco Moschino’s legacy, highlighting the joyful and distinctive vision the designer brought to Moschino over the past ten years. Since his debut collection in 2014, Scott has become known for his pop culture-inspired designs and his ability to create opulent and attention-grabbing outfits.

Scott himself expressed excitement for the future, promising to unveil new projects and continue pushing boundaries in the fashion world. In addition to his work at Moschino, the designer also runs his own brand, which has been temporarily put on hold in recent months.
