Jacquemus Teases New Collaboration with Nike

Teasing has become a common practice on Instagram, and recently, fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus took to the platform to generate excitement for the next phase of his collaboration with sportswear brand Nike.

Last summer, Jacquemus caused a stir when he unveiled his collaboration with the renowned American company. The collection consisted of ten fashionable pieces, including dresses, skorts, polo shirts, hoodies, and a special collector’s edition of Nike Air Humara sneakers. Jacquemus even declared the Nike Air Humara as his favorite shoe at the time.

Originally released in beige and brown colorways, the Nike Air Humara later introduced a pink iteration named “Pink Flash.” However, it appears that Jacquemus has developed affection for more Nike shoe models. In recent Instagram stories shared on his official account, the designer showcased the details of a pair of white sneakers. Sneaker enthusiasts were quick to decode the message hidden in these images – a new version of the Nike Air Force 1 is in the works for release by Jacquemus. The shoe features a logo-patterned rugged sole, a “JF1” label on the dubrae, and leather lace tips with the iconic Swoosh symbol.

This news comes shortly after the surprise collaboration announcement between Nike and luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co., further increasing anticipation for the new Nike x Jacquemus release.

While rumors suggest that this highly anticipated drop will hit the market in the summer of 2023, expectations are high that it will achieve the same level of success as the initial collaboration. The first installment attracted over 500,000 visitors to Jacquemus’ e-shop on its launch day, proving the strong demand for this collaboration.
