Isabelle Guichot, previously the CEO of Maje, has been appointed as the new CEO of SMCP, the parent company of popular fashion brands such as Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot, and Fursac. This announcement comes after the resignation of Daniel Lalonde, who is leaving the company to explore new professional opportunities. Guichot is highly regarded for her successful growth of the Maje brand during her tenure and her exceptional business and leadership skills.
Guichot’s extensive experience in the fashion industry includes working at renowned companies like Kering and Richemont before joining SMCP. She served as the CEO of Balenciaga for nine years and also held the CEO position at Sergio Rossi. Prior to that, she held leadership positions at Richemont, where she served as the CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels and Lancel. Guichot began her career at Cartier, where she gained valuable experience.
With Guichot taking on the role of group CEO, SMCP is now on the lookout for her successor to lead Maje.
