Hunter’s Record-Breaking Sales for Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Hunter, the iconic British brand famous for its stylish and durable wellies, has recently announced record-breaking sales figures for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The company reported that it raked in over £1 million in sales on both days, marking a 32% increase in global sales from the previous year for Black Friday and a 33% increase for Cyber Monday. The brand’s total sales for the extended eight-day sales period surged by an impressive 38%, driven predominantly by robust online sales performance in the US.

Although Hunter is best known for its high-quality footwear, the brand’s strategic focus on diversifying into apparel and accessories has proven to be a smart move. During the sales period, non-footwear sales contributed significantly, accounting for 20% of total sales and highlighting the success of expanding the brand’s product range. Vincent Wauters, the CEO of Hunter, expressed his satisfaction with the company’s performance, describing this year’s Cyber Week sales as a major milestone.

The surge in demand for full-price products further underscores the enduring appeal of the Hunter brand. Sales of full-price items witnessed an impressive 55% increase, making up 34% of total global sales. Unlike some other retailers who experienced a pre-Black Friday sales dip because of consumer anticipation for discounts, Hunter saw a 30% increase in sales in the weeks leading up to Cyber Week.

Wauters attributes the brand’s success to the growth of e-commerce, improved online shopping experiences, and the continued expansion into non-footwear product categories. The exceptional results of this year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales reinforce the resilience and popularity of the Hunter brand, positioning it strongly for future growth and expansion. With such a strong performance, Hunter is undoubtedly on a trajectory for continued success.
