Holli Rogers Steps Down as CEO of Browns to Focus on Role as Chief Brand Officer at Farfetch

Holli Rogers, the CEO of Browns, will be stepping down from her role in order to focus on her position as Chief Brand Officer at Farfetch, its owner. Although she will officially leave her position as CEO on April 1, she will remain involved with Browns as its Chair. Paul Brennan, who is currently the COO of Browns, will take over as the executive responsible for the daily operations of the business and assume the newly-created role of Managing Director next month.

According to Browns, Brennan is a highly regarded figure in the luxury and e-commerce industries with over two decades of experience. As the Managing Director, he will be tasked with upholding Browns’ status as a fashion institution and translating the brand’s vision into a luxurious shopping experience for the future.

Browns expressed its gratitude towards Rogers for her contributions to the company. They highlighted key initiatives such as the successful Browns rebrand in 2016 and the opening of Browns East in 2017. Rogers also played a significant role in celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary in October 2020 and supporting emerging talent through partnerships with the British Fashion Council. Additionally, she led initiatives like upfront payment for young designers and the development of the new flagship store, Browns Brook Street, which unfortunately experienced delays due to UK lockdowns.

The company acknowledged Rogers for successfully merging the pioneering spirit of Browns with the technological innovation associated with Farfetch. In her role as Chair, she will provide guidance on the strategic and creative direction of Browns while maintaining her focus on the Farfetch brand.
