Hermès Reopens Flagship Store in Milan

Hermès, the renowned French luxury house, has recently reopened its flagship store on via Montenapoleone in Milan, Italy, signifying a new chapter in the longstanding relationship between the two countries. The store has undergone a significant expansion, now spanning a total area of 950 square meters and featuring two additional floors. With its increased size, the store can now provide the complete range of Hermès products to its customers.

The revamped store beautifully combines Parisian influences with the unique allure of Milanese architecture. It has been meticulously designed to create an immersive and artistic ambiance, with original objects, paintings, and sculptures displayed throughout. One captivating highlight on the ground floor is a bookcase showcasing a miniature replica of the iconic Faubourg Saint-Honoré store, skillfully crafted from wood by Italian artist Michele De Lucchi.

In addition to the expanded space, the Milan flagship store proudly presents a limited-edition collection exclusively available in-store. This collection further emphasizes the store’s significance as a must-visit destination for devoted Hermès fans and collectors.

Upon entering the store on the ground floor, visitors are warmly welcomed into a dedicated space showcasing the vibrant silk collections for women and fashion jewelry. Just beyond the stairs, shoppers will find the men’s silk section. A charming courtyard has been allocated to beauty and perfumes, with a kaleidoscopic window adding a touch of enchantment to the area. The ground floor also features a section dedicated to the brand’s equestrian universe, catering to the needs of both horses and riders. The use of vivid Venetian-style terrazzo and ceramic tiles throughout the ground floor harmoniously connects the historic Hermès flagship store with Milan’s fashionable Quadrilatero della Moda district.

Moving up to the first floor, customers can explore the exquisite leather goods collections and browse the men’s ready-to-wear and accessories section. The first floor also boasts a dressing room and a VIP room, providing an elevated shopping experience. Additionally, there is a new section specifically devoted to bespoke Hermès projects, offering customers the opportunity to create personalized pieces tailored to their own preferences.

The second floor of the store is dedicated to a spacious area showcasing Hermès’ home collections. For the first time, all of these collections are housed under one roof, including items for art de vivre, furniture, and tableware. The second floor also presents women’s ready-to-wear and shoes, along with a selection of watches, jewelry, and a dedicated repairs area.

Finally, the third floor of the flagship store offers a glimpse into the craftsmanship and dedication of Hermès artisans. This floor features an expert leather artisan and a tailoring room. It has been designed as a private space, reminiscent of a special sitting room adorned with luxurious wood paneling and mahogany furniture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers.

With its grand reopening, Hermès’ Milan flagship store not only offers an expanded space but also provides a unique and immersive experience for discerning shoppers. The store’s fusion of Parisian elegance and Milanese charm, combined with its meticulously curated collections, reflects the brand’s unwavering commitment to craftsmanship and luxury. This reopening solidifies Hermès’ position as a leader in the realm of high-end fashion and reinforces its strong presence in Italy.
