Hermès, the renowned luxury house, is set to captivate audiences with a one-of-a-kind show in Paris. Taking place in late October, this event will be open to the general public and will serve as a testament to Hermès’ unrivaled vision and expertise in creating extraordinary experiences.
The theme for Hermès’ highly anticipated 2022 season is “Lightness in all its forms.” This inspiring concept will be brought to life in a truly surprising manner through an immersive experience curated by the brand at the Grande Halle de la Villette.
To transform their vision into a reality, Hermès has joined forces with acclaimed director Jaco Van Dormael, choreographer Michèle Anne De Mey, and the dance company Astragales. Together, they have created “The Factory of Lightness,” a spectacular showcase that was first unveiled in Japan last June. This immersive journey will take visitors through seven captivating sets, each one portraying a tableau inspired by the mythical winged horse Pegasus and its seven foals.
With a captivating blend of dance, circus acts, music, and object theater, Hermès aims to animate their iconic creations, such as silk and leather goods, making them the central characters in a meticulously crafted storytelling experience.
“The Factory of Lightness” will be accessible to the public free of charge and will offer four daily performances at 1:30 pm, 3:00 pm, 6:00 pm, and 7:30 pm, running until October 28. The first round of reservations opens on Wednesday, October 21 at 10:00 am via the dedicated page. In case you miss out on the initial round, additional tickets will be released on September 23 and 29.
