During the holiday season, why not take some time to engage in a hands-on crafting activity? Hermès is introducing “Christmas Origami”, a fun and festive project to enjoy during this time of year. In a nod to the first lockdown period, where the Parisian luxury house initiated tutorials for creating small objects at home, Hermès is once again celebrating the art of handwork. This time, they are presenting the step-by-step process of creating an origami through a series of illustrated images. The animated video features a young boy who guides viewers through the folding, flipping, and cutting needed to create a paper horse, paying homage to the equestrian heritage of the brand established in 1837. This initiative is part of Hermès’ seasonal brand content strategy, which focuses on the principles of transmission, sharing, and craftsmanship. You can find Hermès’ Christmas Origami activity here.
