A few days after introducing its traveling exhibition “Hermès in the Making,” luxury brand Hermès has announced its investment in the École des Beaux Arts de Paris for a unique event. From December 1st to December 5th, 2021, Hermès will be taking over part of the Beaux Arts de Paris and transforming it into a gym. This event serves as a live adaptation of the popular Hermès Fit campaign, which was launched earlier this year. The main objective of this initiative is to showcase the brand’s accessories by seamlessly integrating them into various sporting activities such as Carré Yoga, Stretch’Ceinture, and Haltéro’Chaussure.
In a recent press release, Hermès revealed that it had experienced a remarkable growth of 35% in the first nine months of this year as compared to the same period in 2019. Alongside this announcement, the fashion house revealed plans to create distinctive spaces within the venue, including a boxing ring, a rock-climbing wall, and punching bags featuring the brand’s signature colors. To encourage engagement, Hermès will request visitors to deposit their personal belongings in the cloakroom before participating in any of the activities offered, which range from yoga, weightlifting, stretching, and balance exercises. The entire experience will be supervised by dedicated coaches.
As part of the Hermès Fit event, attendees can expect an exciting line-up of programming that includes acrobatic performances, live concerts, thrilling thumb fights, and roller dancing sessions. In addition, there will be a juice bar available for refreshments and a dedicated photobooth space to capture memorable moments. This Parisian initiative marks the initial phase of the brand’s larger operation, with plans to expand the Hermès Fit experience to several major cities worldwide in the future.
