Since its inaugural event in 2009, Hermès has established itself as a leading luxury brand in the equestrian world. The Saut Hermès competition is a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence and its passion for the sport. In a press release, Hermès stated that over 75 riders from approximately 20 different nationalities, along with more than 130 horses, will participate in this future Olympic site.

The competition will feature 55 riders from the prestigious CSI 5 category, which is the highest category recognized by both the French Equestrian Federation and the International Equestrian Federation. Additionally, 20 young international hopefuls will participate in the Talents Hermès events, specifically reserved for riders under 25 years old. The challenging courses have been designed by renowned Spanish course designer Santiago Varela Ullastres.

Beyond the thrilling competition, Hermès aims to offer a comprehensive experience for spectators. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness the impressive craftsmanship of the house’s saddlers through live demonstrations. Additionally, an equestrian bookstore will be available for individuals interested in expanding their knowledge on the subject. The event will extend to the Champ-de-Mars area, where young attendees will delight in complimentary pony rides and grooming activities. Furthermore, the highly acclaimed Théâtre du Centaure will present an original equestrian creation on the Saut Hermès track, adding an element of artistic expression to the event.

Hermès anticipates a total of 13,200 visitors throughout the weekend, ranging from experienced equestrians to newcomers who are intrigued by the sport. By organizing and hosting this international show jumping competition, Hermès solidifies its position as an essential brand within the equestrian community.
