Harrods has ventured into the standalone beauty market with the highly-anticipated opening of H Beauty at Intu Lakeside in Essex. This move comes following the initial announcement made last October, with plans for a second location in Milton Keynes expected to launch in the spring.

The 23,000 sq ft H Beauty store comes at a time when premium beauty is a thriving sector for retailers. In line with this trend, the renowned fashion retailer Next is also gearing up to introduce its Beauty Hall standalone stores next month. H Beauty sets out to redefine the future of beauty, providing a spacious and inviting environment for customers to explore some of the most sought-after and innovative beauty brands globally.

Among the luxurious brands featured at H Beauty are Chanel, La Prairie, Tom Ford, Dior, Huda Beauty, YSL, and more. This shift represents a significant evolution for Harrods, known for its grand luxury flagship store in London’s Knightsbridge. H Beauty seeks to revolutionize the UK beauty retail scene by creating a distinct space that seamlessly integrates a diverse range of premium and luxury brands with the signature experiential retail atmosphere of Harrods.

Beyond offering a vast selection of beauty products, H Beauty elevates the shopping experience with The Champagne Bar, where customers can relax and enjoy a variety of cocktails and pastries.
