Harrods Joins Forces with LabelHood to Celebrate Chinese New Year

Harrods, the renowned luxury department store in London, has joined forces with LabelHood, a fashion and cultural community based in Shanghai, to commemorate the Chinese New Year. This exciting collaboration, named ‘兔 be with you’, aims to celebrate the values of family and community while inviting customers to visit Harrods’ fifth floor for an extraordinary pop-up event running from January 20th to February 5th.

At the pop-up, visitors can expect a carefully curated selection of products from LabelHood, as well as stunning pieces from emerging Chinese designers. Renowned brands like The Flocks, M Essential, Ruohan, Soft Mountains, and Nan Knits will proudly present their unique creations. This collaboration serves as a valuable platform for budding Chinese talent to gain exposure in the international fashion scene.

The pop-up promises an immersive experience for all visitors, regardless of age. One of the main attractions is the opportunity for customers to take part in photography sessions, capturing memorable family portraits to commemorate the Chinese New Year. The color red, a symbol of great significance in Chinese culture, will feature prominently throughout the space, adding to the festive atmosphere.

LabelHood’s partnership with Harrods traces back to 2019 when the fashion community became involved with Harrods’ ‘Hive’ incubator program, designed to support and promote emerging brands. Alongside the pop-up event, Harrods is also celebrating the Chinese New Year with an exclusive Spring Festival afternoon tea. Drawing inspiration from the Year of the Rabbit, this special menu will fuse traditional Chinese flavors with British culinary delights, presenting a unique culinary experience for visitors.
