Gunther, a brand established in 2019 by designer Naomi Gunther, displayed remarkable growth and maturity at Paris Fashion Week. The collection paid homage to the 90s and featured sophisticated streetwear pieces with elevated aesthetics. The fashion show took place at Garage Amelot in the Marais district, alongside the Tranoi trade show. Gunther’s unique vision combined classic streetwear with contemporary tailoring, attracting French rappers and footballers to grace the runway. The show took place at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Paris, featuring statues adorned with inflatable balloons at the entrance. Models dressed in latex animal costumes and cheerleader looks danced in front of an awe-struck audience, showcasing a range of unique styles and body types. Doublet’s Fall/Winter 2023-24 collection embraced individuality and inclusivity, celebrating unconventional fashion choices. The collection included bomber jackets, down jackets, oversized blazers, pleated turtleneck jumpers, ripped jeans, and more. The show was a vibrant display of creativity and a rebellion against societal norms.

American brand Nahmias made a significant impact at Paris Fashion Week with its casual and streetwear-inspired collection. Despite being the brand’s third fashion show in the capital, Nahmias demonstrated clear ambitions for international growth. Celebrities such as Justin and Hailey Bieber and Lewis Hamilton are already loyal customers. Rapper Kodak Black collaborated with the brand on a joint capsule collection and performed during the show, while Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc observed from the front row. Nahmias’ collection featured balaclavas with floppy ears, rabbit-themed prints, and furry slippers paired with baggy cargo trousers as a nod to the Chinese New Year and potential Asian buyers. Inspired by California and 90s hip-hop culture, the collection showcased comfortable and fluid streetwear silhouettes. Hooded coats with synthetic fur, bucket hats, graffiti prints, loose-fitting shirts, and patchwork denim were among the highlights. Nahmias currently enjoys a strong retail presence in various parts of the world.
