Modern Classic Cars (Youngtimers):
- Produced between 1990-2006
- Condition grades 1 to 3
- Maximum mileage limited to 10,000 km per year relative to the car’s age
- Minimum market value of €5,000
Barn Finds:
- Manufactured before 1990
- Condition grades 4 to 5
- All vehicles must be accompanied by valid ownership documentation
Exceptions: Cars manufactured post-2006 may be considered for auction if they are exceptionally rare, instant classics, possess significant provenance, or fall into the category of rare supercars.
Collectable Vehicles Suited for Our Auctions Include:
- Classic cars (manufactured pre-1990) with historical significance warranting preservation or restoration.
- Modern classic cars (youngtimers), potential future classics built from 1990-2006.
- Barn finds, vehicles produced pre-1990 with collectible appeal despite their current condition.
- Replicas and kit cars are accepted as long as they possess legal road registration with accurate documentation of the original manufacturer/series.
Unsuitable Vehicles and Items:
- Cars produced post-2006, except under specific circumstances such as limited production, supercars, instant classics, or unique provenance.
- Replicas of brands not officially authorized by the manufacturer, such as Ferrari Dino or Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing.
- Carriage, spare, and car parts or other automobilia items, which are better suited for our dedicated Automobilia auction.
Maximum Mileage/Kilometers:
- Modern classic cars (youngtimers) should ideally maintain an average mileage of no more than 10,000 km per year, relative to the car’s age.
- For classic cars, no maximum mileage is imposed due to their age and use of 5-digit odometers.
Condition:
- ULTIMZ employs a precise car condition grading scale ranging from 1 (excellent) to 6 (inoperative) to ensure the quality of our auctions.
Authenticated Originality & Proven Legitimate Ownership:
- We require proof of legitimate ownership.
- Authenticated originality might be requested, supported by documentation like classic car certification from nationally recognized institutes.
Preferred Car Brands: While it is impractical to list every collectible brand, we generally consider most American, Japanese, and European brands.
