Guess? Inc has announced the appointment of Markus Neubrand as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from 1 August. Neubrand brings with him extensive experience in finance and operations within the fashion industry, having spent over 20 years in various roles. Currently serving as the CFO of MCM, Neubrand previously held positions of increasing responsibility at Hugo Boss, including Managing Director for Scandinavia and Group Director of Financial Planning at the company’s headquarters in Germany. He concluded his tenure at Hugo Boss as Chief Operating Officer and CFO of Hugo Boss Americas from 2014 to 2020.
In addition to Neubrand’s appointment, Fabrice Benarouche has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance, Investor Relations, and Chief Accounting Officer, effective immediately.
Carlos Alberini, the CEO of Guess?, expressed his satisfaction with Neubrand’s appointment, stating that the company conducted an extensive search process and selected him for his substantial finance and operating experience, as well as his profound knowledge of the apparel industry and strong leadership and strategy skills. Acknowledging the contributions of Dennis Secor, who served as Interim CFO, Alberini stated that Secor will continue as Executive Vice President until the end of March next year to ensure a seamless transition.
