Gucci has recently unveiled a special collection exclusively designed for online retailer Mr Porter. The collaboration between the two luxury fashion brands brings customers a unique capsule collection created by Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele. The line showcases Gucci’s iconic motifs, including the tiger, butterfly, bee, and Donald Duck.
The collection will soon be available on Mr Porter’s website, offering customers a range of 43 pieces inspired by “urbanism and personal expression.” The collection features classic suits, eccentric sportswear, shoes, and accessories in vibrant colors such as orange and yellow.
Animal motifs have become a signature element of Gucci’s designs, and this collection is no exception. Bees and tigers take center stage throughout the collection, adding a touch of whimsy and creativity.
This collaboration between Gucci and Mr Porter follows in the footsteps of Gucci’s successful partnerships with Net-A-Porter and the Yoox Group, both of which are pioneering online retail platforms.
The collection will include a variety of items, such as shirts, jacquard wool sweaters, zip jackets, loafers, washed denim, sportswear, and accessories like cufflinks, ties, and scarves. Each piece will be adorned with a distinctive yellow Gucci label.
Prices for Alessandro Michele’s capsule collection will range from 140 to 2,000 euros. Mr Porter’s CEO, Toby Bateman, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating that he is delighted to partner with Gucci during a time when the Italian Maison is experiencing significant momentum in the fashion industry.
