Gucci Partners with 10KTF to Create Metaverse Experience

Gucci, the renowned luxury fashion brand hailing from Italy, has recently joined forces with virtual store 10KTF to introduce an exciting new metaverse experience. This partnership serves as a testament to the increasing popularity and success of 10KTF, a virtual accessories store that specializes in creating personalized digital collectibles for existing NFT projects. Through this collaboration, Gucci aims to not only bolster 10KTF’s visibility but also enhance its reputation in the virtual world.

The virtual store, known as the Vault, has been meticulously crafted by 10KTF to resemble a floating island landscape inspired by the vibrant city of Tokyo. The store is operated by an enigmatic digital artisan named Wagmi-san, and its immersive environment perfectly complements Gucci’s vintage aesthetic. Alessandro Michele, the creative director of Gucci, was thoroughly impressed by the Vault and wasted no time in paying a visit with his virtual avatar to launch the groundbreaking project known as 10KTF Gucci Grail.

To gain access to this exclusive project, members of Gucci’s Vault community on Discord, as well as individuals residing in New Tokyo with a PFP (picture for proof) NFT avatar, are required to leave a crystal ball. This crystal ball serves as a pivotal item to redeem Gucci’s highly sought-after digital outfit, and only 5,000 fortunate members will have the opportunity to participate. In order to qualify, the PFP must belong to one of the eleven NFT collections that are compatible with 10KTF, such as the popular Bored Ape, World of Women, and Cool Cats.

Once the crystal ball is redeemed, participants can customize their NFT with a meticulously designed digital outfit. Gucci offers two exquisite looks crafted by Alessandro Michele himself and brought to life by the talented Wagmi-san. These looks draw inspiration from Gucci’s latest collections, Aria and Love Parade. This innovative initiative not only reinforces Gucci’s brand image but also fosters a sense of loyalty among its community, particularly among younger customers who possess a deep passion for digital tools and the virtual realm.

Through this collaboration, Gucci persists in its exploration of the metaverse and its commitment to experimenting with pioneering methods of engaging with its audience. By embracing the virtual world, Gucci successfully establishes connections with a wider range of consumers while simultaneously upholding its reputation as a fashion-forward brand devoted to creativity and innovation.
