Gucci Introduces Vault Summer Collection

Gucci is introducing its latest collection, called Vault Summer, in collaboration with eight different labels. This collection marks the debut of Gucci’s new creative director Sabato De Sarno and is set to be officially released in September. As anticipation builds, Gucci continues to push boundaries with its Vault concept store.

The success of the previous Gucci Continuum collection, which featured collaborations with twelve external designers and labels, has paved the way for the Vault Summer collection for Spring/Summer 2023. This time, eight new collaborations have been added, further expanding the diverse range of designs.

One of the notable additions to the Vault Summer collection is the involvement of two French labels, Husbands and Maison Michel. Husbands Paris, founded in 2012 by Nicolas Gabard, is renowned for its unique take on menswear codes. The label specializes in tailoring and has gained recognition for its exceptional quality in the fashion capital of Paris. For the Vault collection, Husbands has crafted a selection of suits, jackets, trench coats, and loose trousers with a touch of 1970s and 80s Parisian flair.

Maison Michel, a well-known milliner associated with Chanel’s Métiers d’Art, has contributed a collection of vibrant and playful hats to the Vault Summer collection. These hats range in price from €990 to €1,200, showcasing the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship and luxury.

Colombian label Agua by Agua Bendita brings its expertise in embroidery to the collection, creating intricate swimsuits and dresses. These pieces, handcrafted by Colombian artisans, add a unique touch to the Vault Summer collection.

US label Rowing Blazers has contributed rugby-style jerseys and wool blazers, showcasing their signature sports-inspired aesthetic. Meanwhile, US designer Connor McKnight has designed a range of knitwear items that add a cozy and stylish element to the collection.

When it comes to accessories, Gucci Vault has partnered with Judith Leiber Couture for clutch bags and New York brand Prounis Jewelry for stunning jewelry pieces. Additionally, the collaboration with US sneaker brand Vans from the previous season continues for the Vault Summer collection. Fans can expect a new version of the popular canvas sneakers, infused with Gucci’s iconic and colorful style.

The Vault Summer collection is exclusively available on the Vault e-shop on Gucci’s website. Prices for these exclusive capsule collections range from €195 for a rugby-style top to over €6,000 for a handmade crystal clutch, offering options for a variety of budgets.

To launch the Vault Summer collection, Gucci has unveiled a captivating campaign set on an Italian lake. Renowned photographer Max Siedentopf beautifully captures the essence of Hollywood-style glamour combined with a Dolce Vita vibe and a hint of surreal humor.

With its innovative collaborations and creative vision, Gucci continues to push boundaries and captivate fashion enthusiasts worldwide. The Vault Summer collection provides a platform for emerging designers while staying true to Gucci’s iconic and luxurious identity.
