Gucci enlists Faye Dunaway for #GucciStyle campaign

Italian fashion house Gucci has enlisted 77-year-old Hollywood star Faye Dunaway as the face of their #GucciStyle campaign for the Sylvie bag. Dunaway stars alongside French actress and musician SoKo in a whimsical promotional video where they portray a mother and daughter duo. The video showcases the pair indulging in various activities, such as shopping, playing tennis, and enjoying the sunny Beverly Hills. Throughout the video, both Dunaway and SoKo can be seen wearing a range of outfits, from casual joggers to elegant coats, all while flaunting the iconic handbag. Gucci describes this campaign as a representation of the special bond between mothers and daughters in Hollywood. The video was directed by Petra Collins and overseen by Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele.

This collaboration marks Dunaway’s first venture with Gucci, while SoKo has previously worked with the brand on several photoshoots. In another recent campaign, Gucci unveiled a much-anticipated British-themed ad featuring singer Harry Styles posing in a traditional fish and chips restaurant.
