Golden Goose Paris Debut: Haus of Dreamers

Golden Goose, the renowned Italian luxury brand, finally made its much-anticipated debut in Paris during fashion week with the Haus of Dreamers event held at the exquisite Le Jardin des Plantes. This event marked the continuation of the inaugural Haus of Dreamers in Venice, which was a sensational gathering of influential Dreamers from different industries, including Suki Waterhouse, Quannah Chasinghorse, Sunmi, Dr. Woo, and Fabio Novembre. The Paris event aimed to spotlight and celebrate Golden Goose’s core values and pay homage to the boundless freedom of expression, seamlessly merging the worlds of skateboarding and the essence of Paris.

The show itself unfolded on a mesmerizing sculptural skate grandstand, which served as the stage for a captivating skateboarding performance by an international team of extraordinarily talented skaters, led by none other than Golden Goose ambassador Cory Juneau. This performance served as the perfect platform for the unveiling of Golden Goose’s much-awaited SS24 ‘Journey Collection’. The collection was gracefully showcased not only by the skaters but also by stunning fashion models. Among the skaters were legendary figures Rune Glifberg and Brooklinn Khoury, in addition to Zhang Xin and Olympic gold medalist Keegan Palmer, a long-time friend and supporter of the brand. The skaters mesmerized the audience as they effortlessly displayed the co-dreamed Pro skateboarding sneakers, which are set to hit the market in the upcoming months. Cory Juneau himself introduced the Paris Ball Star Pro, leaving the audience in awe.

Following the exhilarating runway show, an afterparty event was hosted, featuring an exclusive selection of ‘Dreamers’ carefully chosen from cool Parisian landmarks such as Hotel Grand Amour, L’Arrosoir, Union Boulangerie, Room Service, Rupture Arts & Books, Le Dauphin, Pacific Coast Vintage, and Masala Noir. Each Dreamer had its own miniature Haus, providing attendees with an immersive and captivating experience. These mini Hauses offered a special sneak peek of the upcoming Dreamed By collectible object, set to be released in the coming months.

Golden Goose’s Paris takeover commenced on September 25 with a series of collaborative events with local Dreamers scattered throughout the city, eventually leading up to the highly-anticipated Haus of Dreamers Paris event. The event attracted a star-studded guest list, including renowned figures such as Liam Payne, Paul Wesley, Issa Rae, and Justine Skye. In addition to the main event, Golden Goose organized experiential pop-ups across Paris, where visitors had the opportunity to delve into the brand’s enchanting Golden Universe. These pop-ups not only introduced guests to exclusive styles and expert craftsmanship but also provided repair services and showcased the brand’s legendary tailoring system. Visitors had the chance to explore three distinct retail locations: Le Bon Marché from August 25 to October 24, Galeries Lafayette Haussmann from September 29 to October 22, and Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées from October 2 to October 22.

Overall, Golden Goose’s Haus of Dreamers event in Paris served as a resplendent debut for the brand, effectively showcasing their latest collection while wholeheartedly embracing the values of freedom and expression. Through a captivating combination of skateboarding, fashion, and unique experiences, Golden Goose undoubtedly left a lasting impression on all who attended fashion week, solidifying its presence in the fashion capital of the world.
