Givenchy Absent from Men’s Fashion Week in Paris

Givenchy, the renowned fashion house, has announced its absence from the upcoming Men’s Fashion Week in Paris. The brand’s new artistic director, Clare Waight Keller, will instead present her first menswear creations in the spring of 2018.

This decision comes after the departure of former artistic director Riccardo Tisci, leaving Givenchy missing from major fashion events. However, fans won’t have to wait too long to see Waight Keller’s work, as her first collections will be showcased during the Women’s Fashion Week in Paris later this year. Additionally, Givenchy will present its haute couture show in January 2018.

The debut men’s collection from Clare Waight Keller is highly anticipated by fashion enthusiasts. The exhibition, scheduled to take place from June 27 to July 1, 2018, will unveil the British designer’s innovative designs. Waight Keller, previously known for her work at Chloe, faces the challenge of marking her own unique style while overshadowing the legacy of Riccardo Tisci’s 12-year tenure.

Givenchy’s CEO, Philippe Fortunato, expressed confidence in Waight Keller’s ability to bring the fashion house forward. “Clare Waight Keller has an excellent ability to break the rules and innovate without causing a revolution,” Fortunato stated.

As Givenchy steps into a new era under its new artistic director, fashion enthusiasts eagerly await the unveiling of Waight Keller’s inaugural menswear collection in the spring of 2018.
